Be Happy About The Uncertainties Of The Future
There is only one thing certain about the future. It is that the future is uncertain.
As such, if we know that uncertainties surround everything we do, why do we act as if we are sure of anything. If everything is not certain, why do we then worry about things we do not know their outcomes. The uncertainty I am talking about is in the outcome of the things that are currently keeping us where we are.
Let me use my favorite example here. Imagine you see a job posting which has about 5 requirements. Maybe you have 1 or 2 of these requirements. Why then are you stopping yourself from applying? The answer most people give is because I would not get it. Can’t you see that you do not know and that the result is uncertain. The only certainty about that job is that if you never apply, you can never get it.
Why then do you not see that it is the uncertainty that makes the future even more interesting. Because no one knows.
Only Allah knows what the outcome of everything we do would be. Well, I mean the things we clearly do not know right. I am talking about things around the decisions you are pursuing. If it is something that can help make you a better version of yourself, then not certain of the outcome is good for you.
