There are things we have which to other people is luxury but can to us feel like a normal thing to have. One thing that you have at least at this moment as you read this article is life, and many people not living today would pay so much to have just a few moments to live.

One thing I want to talk about today is our parents. Really, can you be asked to mention the treasures you have in life, and the fact of having a parent comes to the surface? It is a blessing we sometimes take for granted. Yes, I have my parents you might say, but have you ever imagined how many more people at this moment wish to even have a few moments with their parents? Many people would want more time with their parents, so if you are opportune at the moment to have your parents, spend time with them.

If you are not physically present, spend time speaking to them over the phone. The value of calling and checking on your parents can only become clear to you when you become a parent and your own children call to reach out. We might assume that parents do not need that, but it is important because Allah has put in the hearts of the parents, love for their children. And it is love parents cannot do anything about. So if you are able to reciprocate and love them back, then you have indeed done a good thing.

The simple message from this article today is to spend time with your parents especially if they are still with you. The opportunity you have today might never come back. So utilize it as much as you can. As you end this article, I urge you to speak to your parents immediately, if you can. If you cannot, say a prayer for them and do as much as you can to be good to them.

They have spent the good times of their lives caring for you. It only makes sense that you pay back in kind. Be good and do good to your parents. Whatever the case, your parents are the channel that has brought you to wherever you are today, so be grateful for that.

Be kind to your parents and if your parents are no longer alive, do something they would have been proud of. Act today as if your parents are monitoring and looking at you. They would have been proud if you did the best that you can. So keep doing the best that you can and keep moving forward.

Thanks and God bless.
