Be The 1%
Sometimes, we find it very difficult to make some decisions. For me, I am learning a new way to figure that out. I call it the 1% rule. To make a decision, simply ask yourself if everyone would do it. If everyone would probably do it, then it might not be the best use of your decision.
Why have I come to this conclusion? For me, I realize that the people we consider successful are people that do what others would not do.
Would everyone consider spending the night reading about something or spend the night watching a movie? The answer is clear. Would most people prefer to gain monetary benefits from everything that comes their way or would they prefer to help another in such a situation? The answer is also clear. Look closely at some of the things most people would naturally do and try to create a better path for yourself.
It is important that we understand that simply because everyone does it does not make it right and also carefully understand that simply because you can do it does not also make it right. So think carefully about what you want to spend your 1% on. Make it something that would make you a better version of yourself. Ask constantly if what you are doing would make you someone your future self would be proud of. Then go for it.
Do not let the circumstances around you determine what the end would be for you. You have to be willing to go above your situation at every point. Reach out to people, seek help, and keep pushing. Keep going and be the 1%. Your future self would be proud of you. Thanks and God Bless.
