Complain Not: Find A Solution
When we are in difficult situations, one of the things we do is to complain. Complain about why such situation is happening, but in the end, complaining does not solve the problem, what we really need to do is to figure out the problem and simply fix it.
But solving a problem is not a simple task, sometimes it is much more difficult than we anticipated and sometimes it is easier than we anticipated. So to solve any problem, we need to start first before we can determine whether it is possible to solve the problem or not, then we can determine the next line of action.
To solve a problem, the first thing you need to do is to describe the problem. The best way I have found to do that is to simply write down the problem, but be concise about the problem. Ensure that you do not use more than a page for the exercise, that should be around 250 words. Once you have described the problem, read through and make sure it contains your understanding of the problem.
Then move on to the next stage. What solutions can you provide from your current situation that can help solve the problem or at least move you towards solving the problem? It is about the little steps that you take that finally make up the full path. So write down what you believe the solution is and what you can do about it.
Then simply start with the solution. In the end, it is no longer a problem if you have a situation with a solution. If you have a problem and a solution and you are not solving the problem, then the problem is not what is out there, probably you are the problem instead.
But if you are able to look at the solutions you have come up and are able to take charge and solve them, then you have indeed conquered your problems. Know that problems are meant to be resolved, not to be complained about and then do nothing about it.
If you cannot find a solution to a problem, then of what good is talking about it? In the end, you have wasted the valuable resource of time of which you have a limited supply and probably wasted other people’s time.
In the end, it matters that you do what you can do about a problem rather than complaining about it. The world is like a game and the game only gets more interesting when we solve challenges as we move from one level to another. No game would ever be interesting if we had no challenges to face. So is life.
So take charge of the control pads of your life and win. You can do it. So start today. Seek for the solution of the problem and not to only complain about it.
Thanks and God Bless.
