Have Faith

I want to tell you a story of two men on a boat. While traveling on the boat, one of the men started destroying a part of the boat. The common sense mentality is the man trying to destroy the boat must be a wicked person. Well, I sound as if he is not a wicked person, but what other explanation do I have to support a person who destroys a part of a boat while the boat is in motion?

So many times in life, things happen that we simply cannot see beyond the normal human imagination of how things are. We cannot see any further. And in these cases, what I always say to everyone is make your intentions clean and keep going. God is with you on your journey. And if you believe that and continue to do the best that you can do, in the end, it always happens. The best always happens.

So back to the story. Still wondering why the man was destroying the boat? It so happened that the town they were headed has a king who is seizing all boats that look good and nice. If the boat reaches that town still looking good, the king would seize it and the owners of the boat would not have any more means of livelihood. But if the boat is destroyed, the king would not fancy such a boat and the poor owners of the boat would still keep their boat and probably repair it for a few bucks. Fewer than how much they would need to get a completely new boat.

This same incidence sometimes happens in our lives when things happen that logically appear to be bad, but in the end, turns out to be the best thing to have ever happened to us. So whatever you are going through today, the most important thing you can do is to have faith. Faith in God that there is a grand design in whatever is happening, that what is yours would never pass you by and what has passed you was never meant for you.

Having this mindset makes us realize that we should give in our best every day, but never expect that it is our best that brings greatness. NO. It is by the will of God. Man proposes and God disposes. So when you have given the best that you can and things do not still fall in place as you expected, never give up. Keep going and keep pushing because you might not currently understand the plan, in the end, you would understand the plan and you would be grateful for it.

Look back at some of the accomplishments you have and see how they came to happen. Some came logically but some others came through ways you never imagined. So never give up and never let the situation of things dampen your love. God is in control, all you have to do is to trust Him and do the best that you can. With God, all things are possible. Be hopeful.
