Help As Much As You Can

I remember as a kid the families we always looked up to. Those families that usually had the latest television set and the latest movies every day. Those families whose light never go out even when the general electricity goes away. Some of those families are still doing fine but a lot more have moved lower in the ladder and this got me thinking about my present life.

How many of us live as if we are going to continue to have what we have today? There is no guarantee that what you have today would be there tomorrow. If there is no guarantee, the best thing you can do then is to help as many people as you can with what you have because, in the end, it might just go away as fast as it came. It is important to realize that life sometimes is beyond our computation and analysis and when we think or feel that we are in control, things happen and everything falls apart.

So since we are not in total control of how life goes, the best we can do is to control what we have today. We can control how we relate to and work with other people. We can learn to do more and be of more help to other people around us. It is important to know that what goes around comes around. If you help people, in the end, help would come back to you. It matters that we ponder over these words, what goes around comes around. We might not accept that now, but look at the lives of people around us and realize that the good never in the end suffer, it might take a while, but in the end, good always pays. And for those we did bad, we all would one day see the outcome.

So to everyone out there who is in a position to help another person, do the best that you can to help make another person’s life wonderful. In the end, we do not know how it would all end, but the most important thing is what you put forth is what you would see in the future. So it is important that we learn to help as many people as we can with all that we have. In the end, it matters. Sometimes, it is not about helping everyone, it is about helping that one person to make sure they get what they are supposed to get. Helping even a single person is equal to helping humanity because in the end, you do not know how much impact what you did would have.

So please go out today with a mindset to help. It does not have to be a grand gesture, it might just be as simple as smiling at that person who no one seems to notice. It is about sharing a word or two with close friends and relatives. It could be anything that would sincerely make another person’s life better than you met them. In the end, our goal in life is to make an impact, that is it. So please help today.
