It Is Okay To Not Be Okay
Too many times we read about the successful and wonderful stories of the people around us. How so many people have succeeded. And while these stories have good endings, we should realize that they usually do not have very interesting starts. And because people do not focus so much on that, we seem to think that everything has to be perfect before we tell others.
But I can tell you that it is okay to write a story which does not have the fancy and glamorous ending. And that is okay. Because a lot of us are work in progress, we should understand that where we are right now might not be the end for us, and as such, we might encounter more challenges than we can ever imagine. And that is okay.
For me, I started a new program with an energy to breeze through everything with no pain, but at this point, I am struggling with it. I understand and accept that it is challenging, but I also understand that this is not the end, it is a pathway to something greater than I can ever imagine, and that is the mindset I need to have. But most importantly, it is okay to not be okay.
I am not in the best shape of mind I wish I could be in, I wish I have done a lot more, and that is okay. What is not okay is giving up on the path to becoming something way bigger than you can ever imagine. I believe I would do something really wonderful one day, and the challenges of today are to make me better. And that is okay to face the challenges of today. They make us stronger for tomorrow.
So no matter how much pain life is giving to you right now, understand that it is okay to be in pain, but what is not okay is accepting where you are and giving up. For me, I am not giving up on my pain and I have decided to find other ways to fight through the pain. But most importantly, understand that pain is meant to push you to become a better version of yourself. If you never experience pain, you might never grow.
So do not be dissatisfied with your life when things are not going as planned. These things happen. They happen to the best of us and what the best of us always do is to keep pushing. Find a new perspective to the same issue and keep hitting at it. Sometimes, it requires completely changing focus to something else, but it is okay even at that.
As you push through the challenges of life, life pushes back and we experience that as challenges or pain. Remember, if you stick to it long enough, there would come a time when the pain is no longer pain, you have mastered pain and you would be doing much better than you can ever imagine.
Never give up, keep pushing and keep going. It is fine to not be fine. Keep hitting at it. Thanks and God bless.
