Just Do Something

Been on my computer for the past 30 minutes thinking of what to write about. And it got me thinking on how sometimes we sit there waiting for a spark of inspiration to light up our day when we already have all we need to get started. It sometimes does not come as a magical moment, all you have to do is to start something and eventually, you would get somewhere.

This has really got me thinking in areas where I am still waiting for something to happen. It could have indeed already happened if I stopped waiting and simply go for it. It matters that we stop waiting for the wonderful opportunity and simply step out and do something. Just doing something most of the time would take you from where to are to somewhere else and when you do a little more, you would realize that you are finally where you wanted to be all along.

Life does not always appear as we picture it in the movies but we can do something towards making it happen. So I speak to you reading this today while waiting for that wonderful opportunity to step up and get out there. Just do something and in the end, it would matter. It would matter that you never allowed yourself to remain in one place at all times. It matters that you keep pushing and keep moving forward.

But be careful to know when you need to not only be putting in strength but also applying wisdom. It matters that you are not in one place, but once in motion, learn not only to apply strength but to learn to apply wisdom in all that you are doing. In the end, it would make sense that we did not simply sit and wait for the opportunity to come to us. We stepped out towards the opportunity and by God’s grace, we got it.

Never despair in what God has in place for you, but also learn that you need to put in the effort before anything comes out. You need to put in the time and not sit there waiting for the wonderful opportunity to come. You have to go get it. Start now and have a blessed day ahead of you.
