Let’s Face Reality

People say the word impossible does not exist in their dictionary, but for me, I believe even the sentence ‘Let’s face reality’ does not exist in my vocabulary. It is not anything about the grammatical structure of the sentence but mostly about the context in which people always use it. People seem to want to use it to imply that things can just be the way they look and nothing more. But for me, the more I live every day, I realize that things can really change beyond the way they look.

So for me, the idea of saying let’s face reality as a way to tell a person to never dream of bigger things beyond their current circumstances is not acceptable. That things are the way they are does not mean that they cannot become better. For anything that we believe cannot be done, it simply means that we have reached the limit of our thoughts and our imagination and simply because we have reached the limit of our imaginations does not mean that something cannot be better. We simply cannot yet see it.

So for you out there trying to see something way bigger than the way your current situation is, think and imagine big things because, in the end, our reality is subjective and do not let another subject impose its way of things on you. Because it did not work for the other person does not mean it would not work for you. People are different and as such, people can be way greater than the way you can ever assume or make them be.

So it is important to be practical which is to me trying things out without ever simply just hoping and imagining them. So it is important that in dreaming big that you go beyond the lines of imagining and making things happen. But never simply stay within your thoughts that things cannot go beyond our reality. When you interact with a person who lived about 100 years ago, the current life we are living would be nothing short of heaven to them and it was something that someone could never imagine a 100 years ago. So seek to imagine and do things. Do small things and in the end, it becomes the very great things. Do not look for one big moment, the small moments would help make your dream a reality.

So I say to you today to take small steps at being practical, and never give in. Your current situation should never define you. Reality is subjective so create that wonderful life for yourself with God by your side. Take care and God Bless.
