On Becoming A Better Version Of Yourself
What exactly does it mean for one to become better? To answer this, I started by seeking out the definition of better and here it goes
To improve on or surpass (an existing or previous level or achievement)
And for us to surpass our existing levels of achievements, sometimes all we need to do is to look at what is stopping us from achieving our goals. It is in identifying what is stopping you that sometimes serve as a path to surpassing your current achievement. So to begin becoming better, you have to ask yourself what exactly is limiting you and what are your fears?
Limits are indeed the limits we set for ourselves for indeed what the heart can conceive is always possible in that realm. So make it possible here. Nothing ever really is impossible, you simply do not just have what it takes to achieve it. And before you move forward, you need to know what is holding you back and some of the things that are truly holding you back are things you can break out of.
To become better, what are the top 10 things you have been most afraid of doing in a very long time. Start from the smallest and in striking out what you are afraid of, you get new energy and boost to move onto some other things you felt were impossible. To begin to achieve our goals, realizing what your limits are and breaking them is one of the best ways to go.
Some people achieve their goals by doing new tasks. But sometimes, all you need is to realize what those tasks that are keeping you back are, then stop them. If you believe you cannot do something, it sometimes hold other parts of your life in ransom and until you are able to break that thing, you might not be able to begin to achieve fulfilment in other areas of your life.
So in becoming a better version of ourselves, our limits are the first things we should do away with. Whatever we believe we can or we cannot, we are absolutely correct, Henry Ford said and would you not like to be correct on the things that improve your life. So listen, what is stopping you is the passport to your achievement, and until you stop what is stopping you, you would be stopped.
So start today by analyzing some of the things you have told yourself are not possible and begin to break them. Breaking them leads to breaking some other goals and breaking those other goals lead to more goals until you have completely achieved whatever it is you set your mind on. And to start sometimes, removing your limits is not always about doing new things, it is also in stopping some of the things that you do that limits you. You can begin with that.
We all want to become better every day and some of the things stopping us are the beliefs we have continuously create for ourselves. You are better than what you think and you can be much better.
