Think Well Of Others

Make it a point to every day think well of others. Sometimes, things look so apparent that we think the other person is wrong. Remember when was the last time you tried to initiate a conversation with a friend and the friend did not respond. You assumed they were ignoring you only to later realize that they were listening to something else the whole time you were talking and they did not hear anything you said.

Well, it might not be the same exact case as yours, but one thing is for you. Think well of others and it would come back to you. In cases when you do not understand a conversation, take time to make clarifications. And when you assume something about others, assume the best. Assuming the best about others sets our mind at rest. We believe that we are all humans and can definitely make mistakes.

When people make mistakes, do not label them as that mistake. Realize that humans are humans and we will always make mistakes. Seek to understand the other person’s perspective and in the end, you realize everyone was doing it for a good reason. Because in the end, man does everything he does for a certain good reason, find that and make sure the other person’s reason would make everyone happy in the end.

So as you start your day today interacting with people, give people the benefit of the doubt and realize that mistakes are inevitable and we only become better when we make and correct them. We do not become better by not making mistakes, we get better by realizing the mistakes and taking steps to correct them. Not making mistakes might be synonymous with not trying something new. You simply have been living in your pigeon hole of comfort and remember that success is on the other side of the comfort zone.

We will all make mistakes. That is inevitable, so make them as fast as you can, and also learn from them as fast as you can. The lessons are more important than the mistakes. When you learn from your mistakes, you become a better person that you were when you made the mistake. So start now, see others as humans who can make mistakes and learn to think well of everyone.
