What Are You Doing About It?
Not everything can be solved by complaining you know. A lot of the time, complaining seems to be an easy way to vent and show our frustration about whatever it is that is going on around us, but after a while, complaining no longer solves the problem and it is up to us to take some decisions towards solving the problem. You simply can or cannot. And more times than you think, you can indeed do something.
Imagine something that has been causing you so much frustration in the past few weeks or months. Can you imagine a perfect situation in which that thing would no longer be a problem? Now imagine what are the things you can do that can move you closer to the perfect solution. We sometimes overthink the things that we can do to move us closer, but a little step at a time can help solve the problem.
Be action-oriented when you think of ways you can solve the problem. Pick a simple way you can get started and keep pushing from there. Are you frustrated about a certain concept you do not understand? Are you frustrated about the current level you are at in your job? Whatever the cause of the frustration is, if you can do something about it, then why not do something about it.
Because if you cannot do something about it, then you should not be frustrated in the first place. You should just accept it and move on. But in as much as you can be frustrated by it, then you should be able to at least do something simple towards solving the issue. So start by thinking of what you can do to solve any issue that comes your way.
I see most times, people talk about challenges without setting any concrete goals. If you truly want to do away with the things that cause you frustration, then you need to be action-oriented. With every time you have, think of a simple thing you can do about it.
No matter the situation you are going through right now, understand that some solutions can be made towards solving the problem. And you just have to be able to find those solutions and begin to use them. But do not get me wrong, getting the solution and beginning to implement them can be as difficult as the problem itself. But know that it is better to continue to work on the solution rather than complaining about the problem all the time.
Know that we all have issues we are facing every day, but the most important question is what are you doing about it? It is time to pause, reflect and find solutions. Only solutions this time. No more complaining. Thanks and God bless.
